@thedude19766 -After the 1995-96 academic year. So the 1995 season was the last for the SWC

@talshiarr Political correctness is often over the top but are you supporting waving a confederate flag? To me it's like wearing a swastika on your sleeve. Stupid
-
Gee, where were the cries of racism over the confederate flags being used back then? Oh yeah, America wasn't paralyzed by political correctness yet.

thars ceazy to see aikman practicing at the old texas staduim then played there for dallas
-
Look at that old WCSC promo at the beginning with venerable Charlie Hall. Just as good as the CBS music here.
-
Sacred is right, I got goosebumps listening to that.
-
"With Dallas at his feet, the eyes of Texas are upon him." What a great line.
-
The theme music they still use to introduce today's college football games is timeless! Mad props to CBS for still keeping the song while other networks seem to use their flavor of the month type of song for their sports telecasts. Oh, and great intro to the game!
-
I was waiting for Nantz to say, "A tradition unlike any other: the Cotton Bowl."
-
Hopefully, the Cotton Bowl will host a BCS title game once it moves to Cowboys stadium. It is kind of ironic to see Tom Landry watching Aikman practice in the intro.
The day CBS changes the college football music, is the day they should cease operations.
That music is almost sacred.

CBS's College Football theme music is sacred and they know they will never change it. If they do, a lot of complaints will be coming CBS's way.
