i've always stood in awe of Joe Hall's incredible lyrical proclivity. He wrote this song about a production company
making a movie in Mexico & at the same time, he created a mini-movie within the tune with his deceptively descriptive lyrics. He is undoubtedly a Canadian musical treasure, & I
put him in the same class as "Mr. Zappa" & the mystical "Tom Waits".

saw him a few times at the Sherbourne Hotel, I think it was called, in the basement. Could never get Terry Jones to go with me tho. Also I think at the Horseshoe and Egertons on Gerrard. All back in the 70's. David Woodhead and I went to his apartment on Queen St. (the cover of his first album) -he was writing a pirate song on his piano...on of the funniest performers ever--reminded me of a crazed Ed Norton (of the Honeymooners!!!)

I don't suppose you have any other footage? there used to be a public TV show that was broadcast as filler from time to time - Joe did some great nonsense songs there - I'm looking for a song that I think he called "Brain Damage Blues"
