Medals of Medal of Honor Allied Assault-medal 1

Mission 1, fortress infiltration. Grab the explosives, and follow Grillo outside. if you are quick enough, he may shoot a kraut heading up to the walkway above the truck. If not, be prepared for a fight and head up yourself. If you time it right, you can sneak up behind the second kraut and pistol swipe him like i did (or shoot him in the back of the head...choices choices lol :) Regardless of your choice, have your mp40 (or tommy) ready for the room ahead. Shoot the private punching the POW, then turn quickly to the left and silence the officer. Grillo will appear behind you and lead you and the POW to where he would have led before.

This is where it gets tricky. If you have completed the mission before, you know you must follow right behind Grillo to avoid the spotlights. that wont work here. The POW is too slow, and will be spotted by the ligths and taken down. Instead, i found it best to take out the mg/spotlights myself. three spotlights are hard to keep track of, but those who prefer slinking in the shadows compared to all out warfare may enjoy watching and waiting for the spolights and leading the Brit themselves (Like Grillo did to you). From there, complete the mission as you did before. The Brit will stay at the gun battery to guard, and you move on to the motorpool. You have now earned the first medal: The Legion of Merit.

(THE BRIT MUST SURVIVE TILL YOU GO TO THE NEXT LEVEL FOR YOU TO GET THE MEDAL. RESCUING HIM ALONE IS NOT ENOUGH.)

Please note: If you do decide to take out the spotlights like i did, be warned: as with me, Grillo may be wounded, so you will have to be the forfront in pushing towards the gun battery. As you know, if he dies, the mission is lost.

@ixalos no, i had to covert the videos to a different format for them to upload. I had recorded them with Xfire, and used AVS video converter to convert them. Unfortunately, unless its a registered version, that thing will appear in the center of the video. I dont feel like paying 60 bucks, so i dont mind its there :)
