Although Abraham Lincoln has been regarded as the greatest President in American history, numerous historians and philosophers have a very different perspective to share. Although it is true that Lincoln "freed the slaves," there is much more about Lincoln that many don't know. In fact, many have said that much of the turmoil in our society today all started because of Lincoln.

Please take the time to listen to ALL OF THESE LECTURES. There are a lot of them, but the information is very important and well researched. Like anything else though, you should still think about the information critically and draw your own conclusions. You should also do your own research on these topics.

Other than the picture for each video, these presentations are entirely audio, so you don't need to watch anything. You could record the lectures to tape or CD and then listen to them in your car or wherever it's convenient for you.

The North didn't want to pay to free slaves, they want to TAX slavery for TRIBUTE, thinking themselves entitled like royalty.

Obviously the South said "no" to that.

Not sure I agree with the limit on the price of Gas, not free market, and america is using way too much, your gas is susidised at the moment- I do believe. Whatever the politicians vote for it will be good for the market- They think that means people- but it doesn't.

@099749 because they could have voted Yes in the first place for unemployment extensions, they could have voted Yes on ending cap n trade. They could have voted Yes on making a limit on the price off gas at $2 a gallon they are crooks.

@099749 10.04 Southern states gave citizenship to Africans- If the north wanted africans removed that action surely upset the apple cart.

If the North and Lincoln wanted all african slaves freed and then removed from America, the south giving citizenship to them, surely would have caused problems.

2.50- "Mixing blood" Again it seems a consistent concern, it's like- fascist race purity.

03.40- "Africans do not belong here, they're not to go west or north- and they can't as the laws prevent them- so they are all bottled up in the south"

It's like northerns wanted to ban slavery because they wanted the Africans to leave America, and could not remove them- while slavery was wide spread. Yet many northerners were not prepared to pay for it.
