Beautiful place spoilt by strange timing on video.

yes. redo this and show us what the house and city look like. I visited Sarlat in the 70's and 80's and it was wonderful. The whole point of the area, and vacations in general, is to pause, to reflect, to take the time to consider what you are looking at. This reminds me of that old, but great, movie, 'If it's Tuesday, this must be Belgium' where time lapse was used to mock the 'seen it check it of the list' tourist. 'Two for the Road' did the same thing.

On the other hand, I do like the "wind" sound and the music very much! :)

Unfortunately, I don't think the time lapse does Sarlat justice. It would have been nicer for the viewers to see the beautiful medieval streets more slowly so that we could place our eyes on one thing at a time and take in the ambience and the architecture etc. Time lapse is good for some videos (in certain parts that would otherwise be too slow) or to add some energy and "rapid" perspective. In this case, however, not good to use for the entire video:)Only an opinion.
Thanks.
Sarlat needs to be seen up close and over years, I first visited it befoe it became a tourist mecca back in the 70s, when all you saw were the local farmers. As the summer musical festival became more popular and as more people from outside moved to the Dordogne, Sarlat changed. The stones are the same, the local people are still wonderful, but tourists bring in more money. It is a beautiful place and worth visiting.
