Jambers - Documentary about schizophrenia part 1.

Part 1. Jambers made a very impressive documentary about schizophrenia, here a view interesting scenes from his documentary, with also an interview with neuropsychiatric Karel Ringoet.

Jambers Paul ( Antwerp , 15 August 1945 ) is a Belgian journalist and television producer. He is best known for this series of reports Jambers on the Belgium commercial broadcaster VTM.

Together with several other TV colleagues is Paul one of the founding members of the Flemish Television Academy.

His program Jambers has often been criticized for being too much on sensationalism and drove some eccentric people to the show, but this made the show very popular in both Belgium and Holland.

His habit to focus on the suffering or the quirks of the people portrayed were often also part of criticism.

Jambers very dry and serious voiceover made his show a popular target for parody.

The show was broadcased in the 80's and 90's.

I denk dat hij op 7:40 zegt "Dr. Ringoet heeft me dat wel eens gezegd geloof ik, dat die mensen dat dachten... maar als je 'adoll' (ofzoiets, ik geloof de naam van een medicament) krijgt, dat de diagnose schizofrenie is." Waarmee hij dus denk ik bedoelt dat zijn vorige psychiaters goed genoeg wisten wat hij had, te oordelen naar de medicatie, maar het hem niet rechtstreeks vertelden.
