does that really do a good job?? And I've seen videos where the guy takes of the foam using high pressure. Would that not cause scratches?? I would think you would gently rinse the foam (and dirt) away.

SEARCH "hood cleaning foam" to see applications where this foamer is actually useful. The car was mostly used just to show the performance of the foamer. This foamer is also good for cleaning drains if your in the plumbing field. It has it's uses. Just not for cars. Maybe for fleet washing of big riggs.
