The video and the feel of the music kind of reminds me of Tool. Mysterious, creepy however I embrace it, dark, and became underground to the present.

This song is beautiful, but the video, honestly, scares me.

It's actually probably a tribute to Tool if anything (the song Sober by Tool was done with a claymation video about an individual's struggle with desire and addiction on various levels). As a Tool fan, I can totally appreciate TBE's in this aspect because they did such a great job with the video and the song. If it isn't a tribute to Tool, well then my opinion stands, this song is great and the video is amazing. Claymation takes a lot of time and allows for such expression.
TL;DR, Just enjoy it

Just because they used claymation to make a video doesn't mean they are coping Tool, Tool doesn't own that type of animation, they are just famous for using it.

People say the same thing on TBE videos as they do on Karnivool videos.. "Sounds like tool, so unoriginal!"... Tool isn't a genre unto and of itself, it's called prog rock, just be happy Tool isn't the only band in that genre we have to listen to and enjoy.
