So lately things haven't been great for me. I've just overly stressed out with school, and other things in life, and on top of that, Vegas just HAD to get lame. :/
It was in her back leg, and she could barely walk to the other side of one of the paddocks. I've been coldhosing her for almost a week now. It's fortunately gone, the actual limp. Today, she didn't have any swelling either! Yay! But, there is still some weird colouring in her hooves.. not sure what to make out of it. Will probably end up getting the vet out soon just in case... I just didn't do it yet because she was improving each day.

I heard this song on Footloose, and HAD to use it. This song is so true though. Except the "he" is actually a she. Vegas is my hero. She is the one I go to with all my problems.. or when I'm so stressed out that I can just tack her up and go for a gallop to release it all. So, the fact that she had gone lame randomly and got me worried sick, well... :/
I don't know what I'd do if my hero isn't there to rescue me anymore.
