A common sight in Singapore at time of Chinese New Year. Food stall owners hire lion dancers (sometimes dragon dancers, sometimes two lions) to come in to bless their business. They usually come after the lunch hour crowds have left, and are paid with hang bao, money in a red envelope that is placed in the lion's mouth. (Hang bao is a common gift among family and friends at this time of year.) --- see the rest of the dance with more notes at http://www.flickr.com/photos/30407639@N00/sets/72157613180544852/detail/
