Chickadees in the birdhouse

My son made this birdhouse at a Cub Scout den meeting about three years ago. I chose to put it up on the porch overhang right outside our back door. I later regretted that, and decided it was a poorly selected location, at least until this year. These chickadees complained quite vigorously that the opening was too small. The day after I finally opened up the hole, the Chickadees moved in.
