Maxie insults Winifred but ends up insulting Spinelli at the same time when she mocks Winifred's "loser" qualities. She tells Spinelli to choose between Winifred and her.

I'm not mad at Spinelli because he is going to be crushed when he finds out that Maxie is right about Winnie. But right now he's blinded to the fact that Winnie has a lot of things in common with him that Maxie can't even begin to understand.
