Broccoli Sprouts contain up to 50 times as much antioxidant as mature broccoli. As a result they have become extremely popular since that discovery - back in 1997. Growing Broccoli Sprouts is very similar to growing Leafy Sprouts, but there are a few notable differences. In this 10 minute video we show you everything you need to grow the best Broccoli Sprouts possible. These instructions will work perfectly for any non-mucilaginous Brassica - Radish, Cabbage, some Mustards, Tatsoi and Turnip. Happy Sprouting!

  • Why not get a REAL robot to do all that repetative work?

  • Sprouting is a zen experience. Robots don't get zen - nor can they communicate love to the growing plants. This speaks to why machines do not produce sprouts of the same quality as a human who loves sprouting.

  • Hi, why do my broccoli sprouts go sour if I wash them every day? I do it just in the morning each day and they go bad in a few days and become rotten. I spin them very thoroughly after every wash, yet this still happens. The humidity in my home is about 45-50%. I keep them in room temp of 70-72F.

  • So, if I do my 12-hour math correctly, if you first soak the seeds Monday morning, then on Saturday night you should be harvesting?

  • Thank you very, very, very much for this! I usually do lentils and beans with the mason jar method (love it!) but alfalfa seeds go through the holes... Radish and broccoli seeds tend to clump into a large sprout sausage! You have convinced me to get one of these Easy Sprouters! Love your site too! Thank you for the vid!
