Classic Literature Video Book is a fantastic Idea. Good work!
...FYI there seems to be a typo...
I believe embued is misspelled in this short video. Embue is a verb meaning to permeate or influence. (which is what is meant in the posted passage from Melville.) For example, the usage... "The teachings of Confucius embued the man with a deep respect for leaning."

Ah...yes. In the description of Starbuck at 2:13 I am reading
"uncommonly conscientious for a seaman, and endued (sic) with a deep natural reverance..."
I believe the word should be embued.
TY again for making these text available in video from.

Now I see it. I double checked the text file on Gutenberg and endued appears to be correct. Looking up "endued', I came up with: "Endow or provide with a quality or ability" which seems to make sense. Regardless, I think it's cool to have this kind of discourse on YouTube.

Dick was originally just a name short for Richard, and also a term synonymous to "guy" today. Later, it became a common nickname for private detectives (thus the likes of "Dick Tracy"), and only in later did it obtain its vulgar association to male genitalia. Moby-Dick is more a name to humanize and personify this whale as if it were an almost human-level foe, crafty and plotting with purpose, just as Ishmael would view it.

Back in Ishmael's day, a whale would've been considered a great fish.
