I know the 450 IKOM BASALT MONOLITHS found in Nigeria have been carbon dated to 2500+ BC.
Most of them have inscriptions which have been identified as a PRE-CURSOR of NSIBIDI!!!!
Could you provide sources for your 4000 BC claim?!?!
