By the way according to the video and as it is stated this is a Jadelle implant, which is the 5 year implant, which is two of them instead of one like the 3 year one.

This is in Venezuela and it does not surprise me, sadly I am not in the USA and watching this makes me not want to get it. In this country medicine is like from the middle ages and they do such stupid things and force people into horrible procedures that shouldn't even exist. I hope in this country (Colombia) is different than in Venezuela but it usually isn't and actually in this country doctors have really weird and prehistoric beliefs and practices I hate it so much.

All subcutaneus rod-shaped contraceptive implants are inserted like this. There may be differences in the troacar (applicator) and there are products with only one implant (such as Implanon; good for 3 years) and products with two (such as Jadelle; good for 5 years). You can always feel the implant(s) with your fingers and sometimes they can be noticed when looked closely (depends on amount of subcutaneus fat and the exact plasement of the implant(s))

Maybe i shouldnt have watched this!! Got a leaflet today as suggested by my doctor but severe DISLIKE on watching this clip!! LOL Can you feel/them under the skin once its healed?

This is how mine was done, the only thing that was slightly different was that mine were more of an open "v" shape. Didnt feel a thing during this. Now lets hope it works LOL!
