The Ability of the gyroplane to land in a very cconfind space is exeptional. That makes the gyroplane one of the safest flying mashines to have an engine failure in. You can land in tight palses with NO GROUND RUN

I fly gyro since years and i know what i´m talking about. It is very risky and the physical rules are fixed even also for good gyropilots....

If you don´t accept the physical rules you will fail. I saw a lot of gyropilots biting the dust due to violation of a rule....

Hope this guy got allways his personal guardian angel with him!

  • @Rollwa

Rollwa, you must be flying a 2 seat gyro and got training in one in the last.....5-6 years. Single seats are much more maneuverable, you can stop them in the air and drop them vertical from as high as 2 meters and there landing speed is UNDER 15 Kph. Doing the same landing with your gyro will be more dangerous.

In your training did you learn stop and drop? hard Stop flare? hand starting the blades?

it is an advantage to be trained from an Old gyro pilot with 40 years of experience.

  • Gyros do not need long runway to land. A good pilot can always land it in a small spot...... anyway he is old already :)

  • great video

  • @cyflyer Oh I see. Well, you are both excellent pilots to be sure. I am most impressed with this little Gyro, and am proceeding to secure all the legal requirements so that I may obtain and fly this particular design.

  • @cyflyer ......................

we can show those maneuvers i mention before that only old timers know how to do them.

Search for "Aviomania Agrinio " and you will see the capabilities on this little Gyro. Also search "Aviomania Thiva flight 1" and see the minimum flying speed with no wind.

Giorgos on his landing (he was coming fast) so if he misjudged the landing could go full throttle and go away or make a "Hard stop flare" and land vertical from 1 m. Are you familiar with this Technic?

  • @paullubliner

There is some confusion here!!! The pilot is Giorgos, he is 63 years old he has 4000 hours on all types of gyros (many more as an airline pilot). I am the designer and manufacturer of Aviomania Genesis. I have flown, ELA, MT03, Magni, Xenon, Aircomand, Dominator, Bensen, and many more.... so i know how your M16 flies.... Did you fly a Genesis??? no!!! you are welcome to come to Greece or Cyprus and test one out.... then you will see what we are talking about. Also................

  • @Rollwa I deleted them as they were redundant and therefore inefficient.

  • @Rollwa: As to you still being alive, that clearly is more a matter of luck than skill. So the Aviona Genesis is able to defy the Laws of Physics according to you. That makes it even more amazing! So tell me, how long have you personally known Sir Issac Newton?

  • @paullubliner

It´s funny for me. You are one who don´t believe in physical laws....

Most of the dead gyropilots did the same.

I believe in that laws and i´m still alive.

    About your question what gyro i fly - it´s a Magni M16.

But i saw that most of your comments are deleted. Why?
