I went to go see Stage 6 last year. It was really awesome actually. It just depends if you're smart enough to figure out the best places to watch it. Another amazing thing is that I saw them after like 80 miles if I remember right and their pace after that distance is still blistering...like a 25-28mph. average. If you ride road bikes, you will quickly learn what incredible athletes these guys are. Superhuman almost.

It is gone in the blink of an eye, but I'll remember watching them go by till the day I die. And as for the sound, that was something else!

Your cam is a pice of crap. I have to agree that it is more engaging to watch on TV because you see more action but the experience of being at the tour de france is priceless.
