39 year old aussie girl here who was part of a small but devoted rave scene.
Here I am on the other side of the planet having my own lounge room revival to this davepeo's(what a legend!) channel.
Dancing around like a loon hubs and kids have to put up with it.
Current music is shite,we know what music can do to conciousness, now if we could only get real MDMA and put that in the water :)

Mate i am in my mid 30s. I grew up in this era. Key 103, Stu Allen, Bowlers, Kinetic the quad.
I still relive them days now. Even though i am older and have responsabilitys. I come home from work turn on my surround crank it up and get some banging old school on. It helps me clean me house and make dinner that little bit faster. My Misses dose not understand, She is An aussie. They Never experianced and never will what we had................

@stazzy94 Get yourself to a reunion night at somewhere like Bowlers in Manchester or Zone (originally in Blackpool but now uses other venues) or search for reunion nights of well known clubs from that era. A good place to ask is a vinyl record shop selling this type of music.
When you're old enough that is (I was 17 when I first danced to this)
;-)
i am only 15, but the emotion i feel for this music is unbelievable even if i am alone in my bedroom playing some piano house tunes, i will dance alone... call me sad i don't care this music moves me emotionally and spiritually and it always has, and i can imagine myself in 30 years time still willing to boogie to this because its pure class :)
