  • I like "the Search" album as well. "Chaos Streams," "Meth," "Higways and Cigs" are all great songs...The song "the Search" is a good rockin' song as well.

  • This is an instant classic! I knew Jay still had it. Can't wait for the new album to come out in June and another tour to follow!

  • SONVOLT COMMING BACK TO OMAHA IN MAY SO EXCITED GOT TICKETS WONDER WHAT JAY WILL COME UP WITH NEXT HES THE MAN

  • Too bad about the sound in this video pretty well worthless.

  • IVE BEEN LUCKY TO SEE SONVOLT 3 TIMES I GOT TO MEET HIM BEFORE THE SHOW WHAT A SWEET MAN JAY IS VERY HUMBLE A QUITE MAN BUT VERY KIND TO HIS FANS HE SIGNED MY CD AND MY HUSBAND TOOK PIX HES PRETTY CUTE IN PERSON O YA THE SHOW WAS AWSOME! TOO

  • Jay can do no wrong. He's a true artist.

  • If you listen to early UT you'll hear the country influences, as well as punk rock as well. I remember seeing UT in Chicago bac in 1992 and describing them to a friend as country/punk. After the show, my friend aggreed. It was a great show, and Jay and Son Volt continue to put out great music. Personallly, I prefer the country side like this song and Windfall, Tear Stained Eye, Left of Slide and Medication.

  • Same here completely shocked!! He hasn't pulled one out like this since Trace and Straightaways, another great one finally he's back in form!!

  • though country is not where he started

  • btw, from one fan to anoother i agree

  • I am a HUGE fan from back in the UT days. I wasn't referring to the solo stuff, I was talking about the last few Son Volt records, which just didn't hold any magic for me. I prefer when he stays on the country side of things.
