Demi: (turns around shocked)
???: there you are baby (runs past Demi and hugs a little girl)
Demi: (starring at them)
Ashley: (come sup behind Demi) come on Demiwere gonna be late
Demi: (looks at Ashley) yhDemis I mean im gonna be late
Ashley: (confused but helps Demi to the jet)

*inside the jet*

Ashley: (takes a deep breath) so Demiyou ready
Demi: (fake smiles) Yh
Ashley: this is your first interview how does it feel
Demi: nervous
Ashley: like the first day of school right!
Demi: (zones out) [first day of school, school]

FLASHBACK:

Emmas (Demis) POV:

EMMA, COME ON, FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL my mother called from downstairs. I didnt respond even though I was awake. It was hard for me to sleep with everything going on, but I just had to deal with it, Great school I thought to myself, another day of lies, fake smiles and basically my fake life, how many lies would I tell today, as soon as I walk in through the school door, I know the first word that comes out of my mouth would be a lie. Urggh everything is fake. Yes I say fake because nothing about my so called life is real in school. I know confusing right. Well youll find out soon enough, I got dressed and did my hair. The same boring ponytail with a side fringe, everything about my life is so boring, well according to me it is, my friends think I have the perfect life, if only they knew how wrong they were. I sighed looking at myself in the mirror. Every morning of everyday was the same. I was ready for school yipeeeee not! I was ready in my uniform and went downstairs. Yes in England we wear uniforms sucks right? While walking down the stairs I could hear my older step sister fighting with my step brother. They always fought over stupid things and this time it was over the remote. I wanted to just snatch the remote and throw it out the window but I know how that would end. I sighed when I walked into the kitchen, I stared at the mess and then saw a note on the fridge. I read it out loud

NOTE: I want this mess cleaned up by the time I get home at 5. Make sure it is spotless or you know what youll get when I get home. GET TO WORK STRAIGHT AFTER SCHOOL

Wow I thought to myself. I wish I could just swear and take my anger out on something. My step sister just laughed at me and made some more mess, she hated me and well the feeling was mutual. My step brother wasnt half as bad but really annoying. I stared at the clock and rushed to get out the door, I got shoved by Hilary, she gave me a death stare and left with my Jake, I looked at the bruise at the side of my arm, wondering how im gonna explain this at school, I got up and shut the door walking to school while Hilary and Jake took the car. One thing ran through my head how many lies today I just kept asking myself

*at school*

I walked inside knowing today was gonna be a bad day. I mean I like school I just dont like lying to everyone here. School lets me get away from everything so its all cool, but staring at the faces of my bffs lying wasnt. Speaking of the devils here they are.

Becky: (hugs Emma) hey Emzhow you doing?
Emma: (fake smiles) great

Awesome! First word of the school day, a LIE

Holly: ahh whats up my peeps! (hugs Emma and holly)
Emma: so how are you guys doing? Havent seen you all summer
Becky: oh you knowonly went here and therewhat about you?
Emma: oh ummwe went to America just like we planned

Lie number 2this is just great

Holly: OMG you mom is so cool, you guys went to America.
Emma: ummm.. yh
Becky: yo.Emz whats up with that bruise? (Touches the bruise)
Emma: oh ermsurfingjust got it on Saturday so didnt get really get a chance to heal haha clumsy me
Becky: you really are clumsy I mean last time you came back from holiday you were in a cast
Eema: haha (nervous laugh) you know me guys

Actually you know the FAKE me, I cant believe I have to hide my life from my friends, they think Ive been to the places they couldnt dream of, but during my holidays I never get out of the house, I work, work, work and then sleep and then the next day I work again. I sighed

Becky: whats wrong?
Emma: nothinglets go

On the way to the lockers loads of people came by saying hello to me and my friends, yh in school I was well known, I was talking to my friends when HE came..
