Think you're a Tea Party Leader? Explain something: why doesn't the Contract from America (from the Tea Party "Patriots") say anything about immigration?

Massive and illegal immigration is a vital, fundamental issue that raises your taxes and gives more power to the far-left.

It's also an issue that the mainstream media and both the GOP and the Democrats are extremely vulnerable on.

Most Americans oppose illegal immigration, but it's not mentioned in the Contract from America.

  • I am a tea party member and as most tea party patriots, we don't follow any leader. There is no contract, and there is no manifest. We do have organizers, but I choose what path I take and which causes I undertake. Most are against illegal immigration, but there are many who are fervent in their fight against it.

Frankly, there are so many things wrong with this country's direction that it's impossible for any one person or organization to fight for all causes.

  • Without Armey, the Kochtopus (search if you don't know that term), PJTV, Fox, and all the others, the partiers would be nowhere. The first two support massive immigration, and the last two aren't exactly strong opponents.

And, oddly enough, the partiers don't speak out against it either, despite the fact that the Beltway is very vulnerable on it and the fact that it's a vital, fundamental issue that raises their taxes and decreases their power.

    Odd. Very, very odd.
