her throat is bad in this, and the recording is awful and also black people do not whoop if someones making a mess singing-they dont like it- -lauryns a fantastic singer, absolutely amazing -i truly find leona lewis voice does not do it for me, or celines although both good singers-but boring and of the tweo leona is truly the most bloody boring-rather hear a good recording of lauryn hill on form singing this any day

of course he never hated it! it was suppose to sound like that! very folksy as it was a folk album. ewan mccoll wouldn't of added it to his album if hated it? also check alison moyet doing a cover of pegg seegar's version on here.

that is true! but ewan collins never liked the way his wife sang it .and turned the song over to roberta flack and her producer to see what thay could do with the song..ewan and his wife liked roberta's version so much better that thay o.k'd it to be used in the movie :play misty for me: roberta's version was the first to be relased on a L.P.and her's sounds much better than pegg seegar's version did.lauryn's sounds flat and very off key..and sung with no emoition at all.she sounds bad.

How can u say that? Pegg seegar sang the original! wa back in the sixties! written b her husband ewan collins. Roberta flack changed the arrangment. so in other words roberta, celine and leona aren't reall singing it how it should be! And laurn hill is more nearer to the original then an of them! pmsl! ha! ha!

she sounds like CRAP.......... roberta flack ,Celine Dion and Leona Lewis own this song..man she sounds bad, she is not even singing in tune with the song...listen to all 4 in a row and judge for yourself....
