It is. I don't know who the owner is but they drove it year 'round. I know they've got snow tires on it in this video.

@Ar4b10n and also keep in mind in winter even with nothing on the tarmac cold reduces traction a lot. At -20°C with my previous car (an accent) I would wheelspin a lot in 1st, less in 2nd and even in 3rd if I kicked the clutch. Clean tarmac, good winter tires, barely used.

@Kurisuchianu89 exactly. That's what I keep telling those who tell me that turbo cars suck because they can't launch (lag). The only thing you have to watch out is wheelspin since you launch at higher rev than a normal N/A car.

2-step is a launch control, it builds up boost by limiting the rev at a certain limit where the boost continues to build up pressure. And by doing that you almost get perfect start and the result is very good 60-feet times at the strip.
