Comcast's Great DVR Service.

Me showing how reliable Comcasts DVR service is. I've had several boxes, several visits, each time being told something new. I finally demanded a brand new box, which I got, but still never fixed the problem. I'm tired of the excuses, I'm tired of paying $15.95 a month for a service that is not even close to reliable. I'm tired of one service tech saying do this, the next saying no that doesn't work, all boxes are like that etc. If they can't get it straight, how can they charge for this service?

LOL Yes I was pressing the play button. The DVR just goes into these non responsive states and does not respond.

Nothing, it is working for the most part. Everyday a couple times at least it gets non responsive, or slow, but it doesn't last long. Not like it did when I took that video.

I've heard Uverse is better and that it sucks. The neighbor has it, and it seems to be clear, but he doesn't use his DVR or anything so I can't compare services. I've thought about switching, but with the package deal I got, it's cheaper to stay. It has gotten a little better though.

Have you tried pressing the PLAY button (which is the white arrow on the gray button)?

Looks like you were pressing the red OK button. 

Comcast keeps sending my Dad cable boxes just because he bumped into a pole @ the Taylor Michigan payment center. one time they sent him 8 cable boxes!!!

Well one problem Comcast should of gave you the new gray color remote with the DCX3400- M box the silver remote will work but they should of gave you the new gray one with this box dont know whats different in the two but i was told you need the new gray ones

Comcast has cheap crap for electronics. I've had several boxes, all with their own glitches. Now I see their navigation software has changed overnight to this xfinity crap. This navigation software is really primitive compared to what they had. It's really almost laughable how bad it is. Try recording shows in the future. What a joke. I'm going to switch to AT&T. It couldn't be any worse than this crap. This company really sucks. Poorly run crappy company.
