So says Buck Brannaman, a true American cowboy and sage on horseback who travels the country for nine grueling months a year helping horses with people problems. BUCK follows Brannaman from his abusive childhood to his phenomenally successful approach to horses. A real-life "horse-whisperer", he eschews the violence of his upbringing and teaches people to communicate with their horses through leadership and sensitivity, not punishment. Buck possesses near magical abilities as he dramatically transforms horses - and people - with his understanding, compassion and respect. In this film, the animal-human relationship becomes a metaphor for facing the daily challenges of life. A truly American story about an unsung hero, BUCK is about an ordinary man who has made an extraordinary life despite tremendous odds.

It's already out. I got it from netflix and watched it yesterday. Amazing documentary that makes you want to be a better person after you're done watching.

This movie caused me to consider the fact that all the so called 'evil people' throughout history were created by other people around them. We blame the one 'evil person' without considering the millions that failed to comprehend true love for themselves thus indirectly creating evil. This movie is amazing and shows us that we are the creators of our reality.

@wolf4555 What a movie, made me cry, I just started working with horses, only 2 years into it. I have 2 horse both 15 yo that have never been ridden, one has some manners now, the other has just started trusting me and let me brush her for 20 minutes the other day while she held on to the fence board with her lips and teeth.
I like Buck very much!
