Robert Clary must be mentally tough! He was in a concentration camp and was the only survivor of his 12 immediate family members, his parents and most siblings were killed(except for a few who survived the occupation of France) ............I would find it hard to even see someone where a Nazi uniform even as an actor after that if it was me!

For anyone that doesn't know, Robert Clary that played Lebeau in this series was in at least to Nazi death camps, Auschwitz and Buchenwald. He was Jewish, has a number tattooed on his arm. He said 13 members of his family died in the camps. He has a series of vids on YouTube detailing his survival at Buchenwald (beech wood). Several actors on Hogan's Hero's were Jewish.
