Cosgrove is a horribe defensive coordinator. I was listening to the game on radio, and 3 plays in a row, three completions to the same guy for Ball State. Its like Cosgrove cant tell who the QB's primary reciever is, or tell how their offense is run.

he blitzed four times.. 2 of the times it was a throw away, and the other a sack, the other 2 resulted in runs for about 3-5 yards and that happens.. but he never blitzed again, thats how mizzou got all those points, where was the offence? im not sure, but what i do know is offence has to help the defence.. same with defence has to help the offence.

1995 huskers ring a bell?? if you lived here it would, we want DEFENCE! not a punching bag for every offence. we have the talent to be a top 10 team, but when cosgrove doesnt know what the fuck to do it sucks.. look at Mizzou game...

I don't think its a matter that Callahan never opened up the offense, rather, Nebraska cannot cover the Spread offense...which is why Mizzou will beat them by 10 touchdowns...and that is not an exaggeration....Tech 3 years ago ring a bell?

PLEASE.. ball state doesnt have near the talent as nebraska, only reason ball state even got close to nebraska is becuase callahan never really opened up on offence, and Kevin Cosgrove is the most stupid shit defencive coordinater that ever walked the earth, you give us our last defencive coordinater and see what wouldve happened, be a shut out like the 95 husker team when they whooped on the #2 florida team in the tostitos bowl
