Got the new Owl City album "Ocean Eyes" the other day on vinyl, and it sounds soooooo great on my USB turntable! Definitely recommend the Ion Profile Pro USB turntable! its such a great player, and this is a great album too!

DONT PINCH THE EDGES of your records. and good god dont buy a USB turntable, even if you're just beginning with vinyl.

@angryzor i agree - altho i have never owned a record or player - i would love to - dads got shit loads of them up in the loft - just need to find the record player he keeps banning on about that he owns

I have that same exact turntable! I love it, especially with the awesome speakers I got to compliment the turntable. Only being 19 years old, I'm currently just beginning with my vinyl record collection. Long live vinyl! :D

whats so special about having a track on vinyl ? i buy 4 12" singles a week minimum. and for the love of god, buy a technics turntable... wtf is that shit ?

That my friend, is a crap turntable. Buy one used from the flea market or yard sale please. That type of cheap "turntable" makes me sick...

@bendingsyllables Yes! Bought a USB sony turntable and sounds awful through a USB connection. Line in through a sound blaster boosts performance 200%

Do you need a home theater system or can you directly play it from the computer (without recording, you know, just for playing purpose)?

@pranaavsrest yes it will play thru the computer via usb with Audacity software. altho, when I just want to listen to my music, I use a converter cable to hookup my computer speakers. it has usb, and red/white output built in.

@mbarry6 Awesome!! what kind of converter cable do I have to get? I have the exact same Ion Profile Pro I recently got for Christmas but I dont have a home theater system only sub-woofers that are connected to my laptop.

@pranaavsrest the proper name for the cable is "rca female to 3.5mm female". search that in google images. you can get them at places like radio shack.
