the reason why i did it was because two of my other gnarls barkley videos that did NOT have this description were removed/blocked due to copyright infringement. the videos that DO have this description have yet to be removed.

    that's why.

I don't think its about necrophilia at all.

"Ah, to have my way with what's left of the will in her,

Cosmopolitans, cocaine, and the occasional pill in her"

Sounds more like a metaphor. When she does drugs, she turns into a different person, and the person she was before dies. Ceelo is trying to decide whether he likes the new her or the old her- "I think I like her better dead," to "Damn, bet she was alright, when she was alive"

got to play songs off my ipod at work the other day, this song comes on as the manager came in to talk to the head chef. whether its a metaphor on not, having a song on bout loading a girl up on drugs, killing her and having sex with her corpse made for awkwardness.

I really enjoy your interpretation. I like to think that your interpretation is the original intent, because a song about necrophilia just seems too dark for Gnarls Barkley.

That's clever, I think it could mean both Necrophilia and Drug use. But I guess there are different perspectives of this song to everyone.

I heard from a guy that this song is dedicated to hip-hop... think about hip-hop whenever cee-lo mentions "her" and you'll find the meaning of the song.

When I first heard that I found this song VERY striking

Danger Mouse (the other half of Gnarls Barkley) produced Demon Days, Gorillaz' most popular album... so, in a way, that's already what this is.
