Part of the Armory's 20th Anniversary exhibition, Installations Inside/Out. The sky above the Arroyo Seco was transformed by a never-before produced work by noted American artist Bruce Nauman. This major work took the form of skywriting that said, in Naumans classic humor, Leave the Land Alone. Nauman developed this project for an exhibition about Earth Art in 1969 but it was never produced. The Armory Center for the Arts brings Naumans art back to Pasadena where the artist once lived and worked. Filmed by Joseph Santarramano
