Why didnt they have anyone from the Dairy industry there during this interview? Obviously the person on this video is beyond wrong. I can promise you this type of behavior is not conducive to the majority of dairy farms out there. Did anyone else notice when the announcer asked if this was common on family farms, the little guy on the left said it is found on the factory farms he visited? That does not mean that factory farms are bad either.

This is fucked up. But this guy is wrong. The only time an animal is in a confined space/cage is when they are the ones getting the good out of it (sore hooves, ect) and they don't understand. I love the cows at the farms I work at. And I treat them like pets. So does everyone there. Not all dairy farms are brutal

Dude, I work on medium sized conventional farm in bumblefuck. Between yesterday and today I have collected 30+ dead chickens that other chickens were walking on. I saw a guy throw large stick at a goat and break it over it's head in the process. I saw him punch and smack a few chickens and kick them like soccer balls. I also saw him twist a goats neck 360 degrees until it rolled onto it's back and then he picked up by the horns and it's balls and threw it over a fence, This isn't uncommon.

Not only is the dumb ass torturing and hurting the dairy cow but he also is hurting the bottom line for the farm. Animals full of fear and pain do not let the milk down nearly as well as a relaxed and "happy" animal. He should have been fired along time ago!!! Small dairies years ago had names for all their dairy cows and treated them almost like family....
