Yeah I have to agree with AxeeeeLx on this one. It was kind of sad seeing you chase Kefka around the whole match and then halfway through realize you had Shift Break only to spam it several times in a row. Then on top of that, doing the same thing with WoL.

And you must have not played the first Dissidia. FunkyMan single handedly brought Kefka from bottom tier to high tier. I'm pretty sure him and Dave is who Parukia is referring to.

@bee123187 yeah, i know about Funky, and yeah, i never played DFF much online, i basically really started with DDFF. quite simply put, i indeed had no idea what the hell i was doing, i didn't know Shift Break could be used like that, and its my lack of awareness that caused it. next time, ill just stick to who im actually comfortable with, which is Squall. quite frankly, i shouldnt have even touched Zidane or WoL for these finals.

wow...tough luck chaos...but i noticed u found a flaw in his kefka at sky fortress with wol...and yeah thats mainly how u go about getting past kefkas firagas...u did good though, chin up qnd hopefully u win next time...:3

nice matches was rooting for ya! like u said next time stick 2 squall he is known to be somewhat of a mage killer mainly cause his rough divide can close distance fast and reflect all brv projectiles think u could have won if u used squall against kefka

@AxeeeeLx now this I agree with. when I saw WoL as the character pick I was very much relieved, my main worry coming into this set was Zidane... for not only his possible counter tactics against Kefka, but his ability to halo camp Golbez. my only guess is that Chaos chose WoL because he had success in the matchup against another Kefka earlier in the tournament.

shift break has magic reflect due to it creating a hitbox around your opponent with ranged high priority on the bolts. it's not common for DDFF players to know about using SB in that manner, and it's really only something us old-school players know about.

picking WoL against Kefka is probably one of the worst choices in terms of character picks... WoL really has absolutely nothing on Kefka, even with the inclusion of aerial Dayflash.
