  • @CRAZYhill112or999 VVER is safer because it keeps the water under pressure so that it doesnt turn into steam immediately. and yes the chernobyl reactors were RBMK which was one of the worst designs ever invented.

  • It's a different type of power plant.

    Chenobyl was an RBMK type reactor.

    Rivne/Rovno is a VVER design.
