my brother had a 69, and i had a 73. the 69 seemed to be just a tad faster than my 73. he would always pull away from me on the freeway. mine didnt have the steering stabilizer.

@69roadr Hi there. Nice to know that ... what year did you have these bikes? The 1969 engine was more "nervous" went to 10,500 while the 1973 (Model G with front disk brake) was more "gentle" with the limit of 9,200 rpm. The engine power was the same with 36 hp and the same top speed,105 mph/170 km. Thanks for viewing and comment.

we had these bikes in 1975. i just got my drivers permit and was fifteen at the time.
