My Favorite Lip Balms, Moisturizers & Protectants

As someone who suffers from dry lips, I've tried practically every product on the market. These are some top picks that worked especially well for me. Some additional products that were not featured (because I had run out), but would HIGHLY recommend are the Blistex Lip Infusion Sheer Liquid Balm (applies with a rollerball that is so soothing on the lips...LOVE this product!), the Neosporin Lip Health Daily Hydration Therapy with SPF20 (very moisturizing and love the high SPF), and Mary Kay Satin Lips Lip Balm (used alone or with the lip buffing mask, this is a fantastic product).

@smilingsandra LOL! You're not crazy. That is indeed a monkey. April (Lirpagall) sent me the nail decals and I wore them during a recent surgery to keep me (and the nurses) smiling. They are just too cute. BTW, those are also bananas. :o)

I have an illness & am on meds that cause the corners of my mouth to crack. I'm always looking 4 something to help. Softlips lip polish helps a lot...but I can't find them anywhere :( I picked up 2 new products 2day I wanted u to try. Blistex Deep Renewal( comes in a tube like the Nivea does) & is better than Nivea. Also Carmex Moisture Plus ( comes in a tube like the Softlips) it's yummy & not yucky tasting. @bobbysgeel Hi, Ter. I'm so sorry that you have to deal with that. Although it wasn't for an illness, I was on Accutane when I was younger as a treatment for acne. My lips would regularly crack and bleed. I didn't find Softlips to be that effective for me. I'll try the ones you recommended. I would highly suggest Blistex Lip Infusion (in the vid descrip), Neutrogena Instant Lip Remedy and/or Aquaphor..all excellent. For daytime, Neosporin Daily Hydration Therapy really protects w/a high SPF xoxo

I would try coconut oil. It is supposed to work really well. You can buy it at most places and fill a small pot. It looks like crisco, but don't let that stop you. It has a lot of really great qualities for skin. I also know people who use it for their hair so it is multi-purpose

U should try soft lips it can be found at your drugstore and it does what the name says :D

I really like Blistex Lip Medex it really helps your lips if they are chapped just like mine are!!!!!!

my lips wont heal they always stay chapped it is sooooo annoyying i used vaseline, chapstick, carmex, blistex, vitamin e oil, bag balm, aquaphor, they problem happened like 2 years ago before that my lips never get chapped but now they never ever go away i dont want to have chapped lips for the rest of my life it hurts

great video Tracy! I love lipbalms too - my fave that's i've found so far is by Avon its the lip plumping one in the silver tube (beyond color -i think is the brand) - its awesome - love it!
