Start the morning by dropping into Jackman and McRoss a great hobart institution, even if it is just to see their wide range of pies and pastries, then continue onto one of the many highlights of a visit to Hobart, Tasmania "The Salamanca Markets", with a backdrop of historic warehouses, the markets offer a wide range of gourmet food and drinks, as well as many of the old favourites, there is a fantastic range of local craftwork and plenty of entertainment by the many buskers who frequent the markets, once the sightseeing is done enjoy a relaxing picnic lunch in the parklands alongside the market or be catered for in one of Australias oldest pubs "Knopwood's Retreat"
