  • EXCELLENT video! Thanks for posting. So for the most part they really dont want to be bothered with you right? I noticed when you inched closer to the one he kinda moved slowly away. I have seen several nurse sharks on the reefs here in South Florida. They move away when you get close. Sometimes they bolt fast. Also is the camera mounted or are you holding it?

  • I had the camera hand held. It took many years of practice to hold it steady. The lights seemed to bother them. On the 1st dive when I didn't have the camera, they weren't so shy. Thank you for the kind words.

  • How Did u Film This?

  • Slowly and carefully. It was awesome to see all of them, but we were nervous at the same time. One came so close that I had to hit him with a crow bar.

  • Were you expecting to see the sharks when filming this video or did you just happen to stumble upon them?

  • This was the second dive, so I knew they were there. We never expected what we saw that 1st dive. They were more "friendly" on the first dive. I think the video lights bothered them.

  • What a great wreck. Many interesting artifacts to be found. Thanks for the video, brings back memories.

  • Very kind comments. Thank you so much!

  • Gin clear water. Outstanding viz. Arresting footage of Sand Tigers, and an abundance of my favorite...the Edible Blue Mussel. Keep up the good work. End result is nothing short of spectacular.

  • Awesome! Thanks for sharing. Diving in our own back yard is one of NJ best kept secrets
