You spoke of "firescale" if you overheat the piece, but firescale is a black layer of cupric oxide that forms on the surface of metal containing copper, such as sterling silver, when it is heated. Since PMC is fine silver, I thought it wouldn't have a problem with firescale. Did you mean "melt"? Please clarify.

Are you familiar with making a looser viscosity (or paste) out of this kind of clay? I've seen a compound available for sale that suggests this is better than adding water....do you know what this compound is made of? Can silicone be added to the clay to make such a paste? I'm interested in knowing anything you can offer on this
