HowTo Unlock iOS 4.2.1/ 4.1 for iPhone 3G/3GS by Flashing your Baseband
This will upgrade your baseband from 5.14, or 5.15 to 6.15 which is unlockable.
Warning - Do at your own risk, There is no way to come back down from 06.15, and there's no hiding the baseband version from Apple. You'll be voiding your warranty in a very obvious way. 2. If some future baseband comes out with a critical fix, you won't be able to update to it if it remains down in the 05.xx sequence (then again, you wouldn't update to it if you wanted to keep your unlock anyway). 3. Starting with FW 4.2.1 if you have 06.15 on your iPhone you won't ever be able to restore to stock firmware (it will fail). You'll need to only restore to custom IPSWs (then again, if you're unlocker you should already be doing that).

  • falce whay you not wait to see the connected in sim card

  • @argjenthaliti93 Sorry you think its false, these are the steps. I did not wait, because I do not have t-mobile. You would be waiting for an AT&T logo to pop up. Trust me though, it works.

  • stuck in apple logo please heeeeeeeeeeeeeelp

  • @jokejoseph if this happens, it sometimes does, you need to restore your iPhone. If your having issues with this use redsn0w to boot it into pwnd dfu mode. Then retry, so, first restore, then use redsn0w to boot into pwnd dfu mode then try this... hope that helps

  • You're probably not going to answer, but I did every step I needed ( I already jailbroke my iPhone with Greenp0ison so I just checked "Install iPad baseband) and I still don't have the 06.15.00 BB. Can you try to help me ?

  • @syfool I am not 100% sure... it may be the fact that its already jb, although I can't say for sure... you may wanna try backing up your iphone with packagebackup or xbackup and restore your phone, then rejb with redsn0w and check install baseband and then re install either one of those back up apps and restore your device back to how it was before

  • I already have the 06.15.00 without clicking the ipad baseband installation. I have got my sim card in and it is recognizing it but still there is no signal it has zero bars.

  • I did all this, but of course it doesn't work. For some reason that source doesn't work and redownloading it doesn't work either. I used ultrasn0w 1.2.5 - but from sinfuliphonerepo. I'm in Korea - but shouldn't be a big deal, I popped in my sim card and it had my phone mumber in the settings and also had SKTelecom cor the carrier - but then the carrier is still resrticted, WTF!
