Daytona Beach, March 2011 and the weather is marvelous. Hitching a ride via public transport, the Focus Designs Self-Balancing Unicycle (http:\\focusdesigns.com) makes for a fun scoot up and down the hard-packed sands. A sharp eye is needed, though, especially on the no-cars section of the beach, as little sand fleas tend to jump in front without warning. I saw the little tyke and was prepared for evasive action.
Other sights on the beach are obvious.
@bored1980, more comments do come from the girls on the beach than the guys, but they are just a bit too young for me. I think the key would be to offer free test rides or instruction.

Interesting, though I couldn't imagine a unicycle being much of a chick-magnet on those lovely beaches.

@Pooshooter5k, and a unicycle, having one wheel, is not defined as a vehicle.

In Florida the bicycle is legally defined as a vehicle.

@NottinghamCyclist, I challenge you to visit the beaches during spring break and not suffer whiplash! (grin)
