Brilliant guitar solo at the end.America for beginners received outstanding reviews on Radio Ones record review by the presenter and all the musicians on the show when released but received no daytime airplay essential for chart success.

Dieses Lied hab' ich in den frühen 90ern geschätzt hunderte Male auf meinem Sony-Walkman gehört. Text & Gesang haben mich sehr beeindruckt. Und heute, im Zeitalter von Youtube & Co, macht sich schmerzlich die Zurückhaltung bemerkbar, die Latin Quarter gezeigt hat, wenn es damals um's Produzieren von offiziellen Videos ging.
Entweder haben sie sich im Understatement geübt oder das Potential von Musikvideos unterschätzt oder ignoriert. Schade, dieses großartige Lied und kein großartiges Video dazu

Another excellent one is the long version of Pyramid Label. I saw them play at the Town and Country club i think in 1985 and Pyramid Label was the last track they played.

One of the best ballads of the 80´tees, according to me.
