I think this reel answers why some of the acting isn't the greatest in these movies. It's cause the actors are so freaking disheveled by not being in a real atmosphere. All that blue has to be a big throw-off. Blue everything would make anybody act funny, even normal people just trying to have a conversation.

@bethanywdwcp Hmm, well I've just checked the 'gag reels' for ep 4/5/6. I'm not saying you're wrong, I just didn't see one green screen in any clip. They all seem to be shot on location, or with amazing sets. Even the light saber wasn't blue or green! ha-ha.

Clearly there are times when blue screen had to be used, i.e when sat in the x-wing or Falcon so it looked like they were in space.

I just think you cant get much out of actors bunging them in blue screen for entire films.

It must be so boring acting on a film like this, surrounded by blue screen the entire time. No wonder no one has any emotion in it. The most pointless 3 films ever made... shame on you George!
