RS Drawing tutorial: how I work. (polypore dungeon)

hopefully u can forgive me on my lack of "perfect english" as it is not my first language, also i'm coughing here and there because being nervous for some reason lol.

Anyways, anything is kinda explained in the video :) hope you like it.

this program is photoshop cs5, btw...


note: this is not a tutorial on how to draw for example proportions, but more a behind the scenes on how i work. enjoy!

yo mystic, just 1 question. How did you learn shapes and shading? If u say school, then im screwed since there are no schools for that around my place.

The key to learn all those stuff is by watching how others do it, by getting information like books and by practising yourself! The only thing an art school do is forcing you to practice over and over again. I saw many students going from bad to very good. All you have to do is "invent" it for yourself! also, some1 who can give decent commentary on your work could help.

@miksu546 mostly, it's not that i only see life like a movie from 1950 :) once a lot of colours are placed together it is very hard for me to define wich colours are there.

You should continue. I've seen tons of Runescape drawing videos and, by far, yours are the best. Whenever i have friends over I always have to show them your videos. :P
