10 reasons why I will NOT buy an Apple iPad:

1. It is not what I expect from an Apple tablet.

2. Screen resolution. It only does 1024x768 (the same as an iBook G4!, no native 720p, that means all those HD videos from the Apple store won't play back at full resolution).

3. Screen is not 16:9 (widescreen).

4. No direct way to connect an... external hard drive or USB thumb drive.

5. Apple's A4 1Ghz processor is still untested for everyday life use.

6. Software bugs usually present in new solfware.

7. No camera (it would be nice to use iChat on this machine).

8. $170 US dollars for 3G (also, 4G is just around the corner).

9. No FLASH support.

10. With the ammount of content I have in my iTunes library, I'll be needing more that 16, 32 or 64GB of storage space (80 to 120gb should do it. But then again, they are using flash drives).

I am under the impression that products in this form will be unpleasant to type on. From the iPad keynote, I noticed how they avoided typing on the device (other than Jobs' one email) If people want to use these to browse Facebook, that might be a problem.

DONT BUY ONE. you spoiled jaded baby.... you ask for SO MUCH. you watch these things sell like craazy. you watch those flash sites release FLASH FREE for iPad. you watch those external drives appear in stores. I remember when apple released the Macintosh. all those code typers laughed. A TOY. A MOUSE? then they came out with the 3.5 inch floppy and they said, WHO HAS 3.5 Drives..... then USB...then Firewire....etc etc. bill gates INVESTS IN APPLE. he LOVES THEM. you crybabies
