The film is shot mainly in close ups creating an intimate real feel for the audience. The Caravaggio chiaroscuro lighting is perfection. As one example, the girl's face goes dark as she nods off.
The acting is perfect and the short story incident is believable.
The USC is distinguished as the top school for film making and has been for many years.
