never seen this game before, really looks like hard work. Interesting to see the goalposts like in Aussie rules. COuld someone outline the main rules for me? I'd appreciate it. I notice that one guy balanced the ball on his bat when he was running... can't you run while carrying it?

@DummyAccountist Judging by last years championship Kilkenny are also finished. They have too many ugly hurlers with very little skill. You can't expect to compete against Tipp or win anything with mullockers like Michael Rice, Jackie Tyrell, John Tenneson, Brian Hogan and even Larkin.

@northdublad Clubbed to Death by Rob Dougan. Yeah it was a cracker. Dan Shanahan made the point in his book that the Waterford forwards always talked about power being the way to beat Cusack. Kelly got that bit right anyway.
