  • @TheJboy88 I think he's probably nothing less than the most significant philosopher of our time - although it was the later books which really drove that home - the Vimes and von Lipwig ones in particular. That said, he's far from the first to poke fun at Shakespeare (it's a sure-fire way to get laughs from a UK audience, because we're all made to read it in school). The "Sense And Senility" episode of Blackadder is another really good one (from which this borrows a couple of gags, in fact). :)

  • @MoralDeQue "Glass sparkles more than diamond, it has more to prove" Another of Pratchetts dead on truths

  • YOU YOU'RE DEAD best line ever

  • These banners make me uncomfortable...

  • @Notebooked I'd rather they'd completely left that out, rather then compressing it like this.

ORIGINAL: "Granny turned around very slowly on her stool, as though propelled by hidden motors, and subjected the interrupter to a hundred kilowatt diamond-blue stare. The man wilted under it and sagged back on to his stool, her face following him all the way down. 'No,' she said. He considered the options. 'All right,' he said. Granny turned back and nodded to the actors, who had paused to watch her".

  • @Abelhawk

For protecting her eyes when flying on her broom.

  • Why does Granny Weatherwax have goggles on her hat?

  • The fact that Terry Pratchett could spot these strange facets of classical literature and make them so funny speaks volumes about the man's talent as a writer.

  • @Langsorigingaleia And Macbeth, Magrat's opening line parodies the first scene with the Weird, er... Wyrd Sisters.

  • lol, Shakespeare is in this cartoon. Actually this cartoon closely resembles the plot of Hamlet.

  • @wizardtheater made in 90s i think

  • 'She never talked about...men" "what about them?" "we're gonna need another video"

  • @wizardtheater 90' s cartoons were far much better then the ones we have this days. This is art, not some computer work like "Winx", "Bratz" and all that other things.

  • 6:55 lol

  • This series is good, but I really don't like the style. It reminds me of the cheesy 90's cartoons. Its ok but I think it hurts the story.

  • @igorrychter2 Sorry, I meant 8:58

  • @lordxeras Liar, there is no 9:00 in that. Next to 8:59 is 9:01

  • 9:00 Tiffany was slightly quicker to catch on when Granny was going to give her "The Talk"

  • Granny never hesitates to admit her ignorance

  • @Geliaebrina

    Sigh.

  • @IHateStalagmites ANYTHING Granny Weatherwax says is pure gold, deal with it :-)

  • "He done it with a dagger!"

    Gold. Pure gold.

  • You! your dead! *man plays dead*

  • @icestar143 Although if you drown the Dwarf behind you whilst quaffing then you're doing it wrong.
