it's not the pilot, that is if yr talking about the major factor in an air combat.
It's the shaping of the tactical enviroment!
thats why the F-15 has such a tremendous success,cause it has a massive support of other means(early warning capabilities,safe target aquisition,electronic warfare,etc) that ensure it an almost perfect success!
But if yr a dumb F-15 pilot u go on "dog fighting" the Su-27 and lose 4 sure(unless the other pilot is even dumber, lol)!!!

Personally? Having never been a "real" fighter pilot myself, I think the game is so awesome and as close to reality as possible, everything "except" flying a real fighter is second best and this is the closest I will ever get. If you can do better, PLEASE, be my guest and show us.
