  • Hey thats real cool - i rated you five stars, I had no idea you could do that on an acoustic! - cool!. I have a video which is finger tappingon an electric guitar but i am not as good as you . Check it out and please rate it five stars. You need to type in FINGER TAPPING and then select resently added i am 4th or so down and it is called ME FINGER TAPPING and i am the short 13 year old with the black guitar and AC/DC T-Shirt. I have only played for a year so dont be to mean. Thanks!

  • hey willism05 - great job on the electric; keep it up! and the video is not me, but of Michael Hedges who died in 1997. I put up his videos for fans like me who love to see him play (check out other Hedges videos to see what else you can do with an acoustic guitar). There were not may official videos of him playing, and he's spectacular to watch.

  • God that part at 1:51 is so sick. It's blasphemy that this only has 4,000 views, which were probably the same few people mesmerized by it and rewatching anyway :D

  • that is by far the best performance of rootwitch ive ever seen.

  • @mikeedude09 New guys are using the whole guitar?, What do you think hedges is doing?, using one fret lol. You obviously no nothing about this guy.

  • Michael always saw himself as a composer, the candyrat artists got nothing on him this guy was in a league of his own IMO.

  • The new guitarists are ripping him off.

Michael is the inventor of this style.

  • I think he has been surpased... In diffrent styles. The new guys are starting to use the whole guitar...

  • Man do I miss this guy. I agree with Emirikolthechaotic2 - seeing him live was a very intimate experience. I saw him 7 or8 times and felt like I knew him personally. I know that sounds cliche, but you just got the feeling that he was baring his soul when he performed. I believe he was the most honest performer I have ever witnessed. It is encouraging to read here that there is a lot of unreleased video material, but at the same time very frustraing that it hasn't been released.

  • Michael just simple knocks all these new guys into a cocked hat...

  • ho! ha! HA!

  • agreed my friend agreed
